Halo Infinite Controller Does Not Work On PC 2022

That means there is something contradictory.

Halo Infinite: Improve the controller that does not recognize or detect on a PC

Sometimes it is also possible that even though Xbox, PS5, or any controller is detected by the computer, it does not register the input button or input wrong, etc. Fortunately, here we have shared some possible solutions that must help you. So, you can check all methods one by one until the problem is improved for you. Now, without further ado, let’s jump into it.

1. Reboot the PC

Be sure to start your computer after closing the game and steam because the normal reboot to the system can fix some temporary problems or cache data. You have to try it.

2. Reconnect your controller/joystick

You have to get out of the Halo Infinite game and close the steam, then turn off your controller/gamepad. Now, turn on the controller/gamepad and connect to your computer. When finished, make sure to re-launch the Halo Infinite game on a PC to check this problem.

3. Unplug the mouse/keyboard or other peripherals

7. Launch the game in windowed mode using configuration files

Some Halo Infinite players who are affected may experience some problems with the gamepad/controller on PC. It is recommended to launch the Halo Infinite game in windowed mode using configuration files.

• Open this Explorer or PC file> open the document.
• Open the Halo Infinite folder> Right-click on the config.ini file.
• Select Open with and select Notepad> Now, the configuration file is open for editing.

8. Activate Steam Overlay

• Click OK to save changes.
• Restart client Steam and try to run the Halo Infinite game again.

10. Choose high performance in graphics settings

• Click on the start menu> Find Graphic Settings and enter it.
• In it, make sure the desktop application is selected> click Browse.
• The Explorer file window will open and go to the installed steam folder.
• Go to Steamapps> Common> Halo Infinite Folder> Select the WWE2K22.exe application.
• Click Add to include it in the list.
• Now, look for games in the list> Click the Halo Infinite option.
• Then click high performance.
• Click save, then try launching the game again to check this problem.

11. Remove the controller check in the steam controller regulation

Sometimes removing the control of the controller option in steam control regulation can improve the gamepad does not detect or not function.

• Launch Steam Client on a PC.
• Click Steam from the upper left angle> Click on Settings.
• Now, open the controller> click on the general controlling settings.
• Be sure to erase all the control configuration support from the list.
• Click OK to save changes.

12. Inactive/Activate Steam Input

• Launch Steam Client> Go to the Library.
• Right-click on Halo Infinite and select Properties.
• Click Controller> Click ‘Use the default settings drop-down menu.

• If you are still facing the same problem then make sure to follow the steps again and select ‘Activate Input Steam’ this time then try again.

13. Use steam input per game settings as forced or forced to die

14. Use DS4Windows

• Download the DS4Windows tool from the internet on a PC.
• Now, install the tool and make sure to run the DS4UPDater (EXE) file from the installation folder.
• Go to the directory and double-click on the file to run it. If requested by UAC, click yes to allow admin access. This will install the latest DS4Windows application on your PC.
• Open the DS4Windows> Open the settings tab from the interface.
• Click ‘Hide DS4 Controller’ to activate/convey it.
• Be sure to close the interface and check the problem again.

15. Try using a cable controller

If there is no successful method for you, try using a cable/generic controller to a PC using a USB cable to check the problem. The chances are high that somehow Bluetooth connectivity from the controller cannot hold the nerves with your PC connectivity or vice versa.
