Haikyuu Season 5 is the coming season for one of the most loved sports anime series that follows a persistent boy who gathers inspiration from professional volleyball players and wants to be a volleyball despite his small appearance.
The Anime Comedy TV series was directed by Susumu Mitsunaka (E01-E60) and Masako Sato (E61-E85) and written by Taku Kishimoto based on the Japanese Manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate. Ted Lasso is a good sports comedy series that follows a persistent coach who trains AFC Richmond High.

Haikyuu season 5 will be released only after the official announcement and recently -this is an article published by Collabo Cafe that revealed that season 5 will be announced in August 2022. This article features a collab menu based on a basketball match between ‘Karasuno High vs Nekoma High’ which will be the main theme of Haikyuu S5.
If the news is concrete then we will be able to see the new season of Haikyu in March 2023 because the production will be completed by the end of 2022 if the 5 seasons have been produced in August 2022. There will be 12 episodes as before the series season.
New episodes will air on the original network in Japan and Crunchyroll (throughout the world) every week. The version dubbed English will also be available after the arrival of the English subbed version outside Japan.
The first season premiered in 2014, the second season in 2015, the third in 2016, and the fourth season were released after four long years in 2020. Now, the fifth season is awaited but there is no exact release date provided by the Creator after the instructions in December 2020. It was announced that the production team hoped to create the 5th season of Haiyuu for MBS.

Why is Haikyuu taking so long to return for another season?
No doubt, we like Tobie, Hinata, and other male anime characters wholeheartedly but the animation takes time and you will be surprised to know that most of our favorite sports comedy anime animators are paid low.
Although this series ordered profits, the original heroes behind the camera did not get anything. Haikyuu season 5 is also an anime that is awaited with a lot of hype so providing up-to-mark quality is another big challenge for designers.
When talking to several industry professionals, we found that Haikyu animators were very low and would work longer and longer in an effort to complete their work on time.
There are almost 3000 frames in one episode and if the animator attracts 300 frames a month, they can only get 300*1.8 = $ 540 per month.
I hope you will understand that drawing 300 pages in one month is very difficult, especially for new designers and this is the hard reality of this series.
In addition, an animator was fired for creating an erotic scene without studio approval. This can be the reason why Haikyuu season 5 requires time.

What will happen in Haikyuu Season 5?
The 5th season of Haikyuu will begin with a national tournament and the storyline will continue right after the 4th season ends. Karasuno’s first match was against Nekoma.
Maybe, Hinata will play Nationals this time against Nekoma High. It will be a big match as if we will see the quarter-finals between the two strongest teams. Also, the Kejayama and Hinata match will get our special attention.
As we all know, the plot is always around the high school volleyball team and the relationships between the players. At the end of the 4th season, we saw Hinata feeling sad and out of control because he missed the chance of a goal and now he regretted the opportunity to let him lose the match.
